Time Remaining
The International Conference on Renewable Energies and Smart Technologies (REST) is a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge and ideas related to renewable energies, including solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass energy, as well as smart technologies such as energy storage, smart grids (data, AI, IoT, and services), and energy efficiency.

The conference promotes developing and deploying sustainable energy solutions while addressing the challenges and opportunities in achieving a sustainable energy future. REST also emphasizes the importance of a just energy transition, ensuring that the transition to renewable energy sources is equitable and benefits all members of society, including marginalized communities.

Discussions on strategies and best practices for achieving a just energy transition, such as policies and programs that promote social equity, community engagement, and stakeholder participation, are also incorporated into the conference. By incorporating the principles of a just energy transition into the discussions, REST aims to ensure that the transition to renewable energy sources is both environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable.
All accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore.
